CERTIFIED VISION BOARD COACH accreditation is offered only by THE VISION BOARD INSTITUTE and under the auspices of Joyce Schwarz, founder, best-selling author, career strategist & new product & company launch consultant.
1) What is the market value of certification?
The added value that certification brings can be as high as 30-40 percent increase in revenues/income annually. Across all certifications nationwide (for personal development & self-help a study by the US Department of Labor showed an annual increase in the 22 percent range. Certification provides a tangible competitive advantage with a minimal, easily recoverable investment. Coaches also realize direct benefit to their own business from certification. Both the value of their service and their level of client retention increase.
2) What is the CVBC and what does it stand for?
The Certified Vision Board Coach designation proves that a skills-based program designed to distinguish workshop leaders who employ the concepts of visioning, visualization, vision board and journal creation from those who have had no formal training. It assures the workshop attendee and hiring entity (ie corporation, nonprofit or community group) that the CVBC has agreed to a code of ethics & abides by the guidelines of an accrediting organization, The Vision Board Institute.
3) Can you give me an overview of how the 4 week workshop is conducted?
Certification Overview: once accepted (all applicants are interviewed personally) Certifying Counselors attend an 4 week online & teleseminar training program. The workshop curriculum presentation format includes: supporting text and reference information and audio & video CDs.
NOTE: The 4 week group program is limited to 6-8 applicants.
Home study is an 8 week course. In the tele-workshop (that's what we offer all courses are tele-workshop via phone-- you don't need a computer to take the course) we cover two weeks in one so that it is 4 weeks only so it's an accelerated version of the home study course!
4) How does the fee for the CVBC training & certification compare to other national certification programs?
The introductory investment for CVBC Certification initial workshop is deeply discounted, in order to encourage instructors to build awareness of this system its use in the personal development field for individuals, groups & corporate & nonprofit clients.
Comparison to other certification programs, the current fees charged for CVBC accreditation are $599.00 for 4 week tele-workshop and $599.00 for home study. As discussed on the initial CVBC Info call, comparison of more than 20 certification programs shows that the range of the fees for other types of certification is approximately $1995 to $2495. For example to become an Accredited Law of Attraction coach it is $2000 and above from all vendors that we saw online.
5) What if I want one to-one time with Joyce Schwarz?
Additional time/coaching for with Joyce Schwarz is available at a deep discount fee of three sessions of 1 hour each for a package rate of $500.00 hour (
The Certified Vision Board Counselor package includes:
